Welcome

Welcome to the Lakeview Heights Tennis Club in Kelowna BC, the best little tennis club in the Okanagan valley. We are located on Anders Road in Lakeview Heights,  on the west side of Lake Okanagan. We have over 200 members. Our President for 2010 is Tony Stewart.

We offer a number of tennis activities including drop-in tennis nights for Ladies, Men, and Mixed,  Tennis Socials throughout the summer, as well as Club Championships and the Lakeview Heights Open Tournament. Follow the links on the left for details.

NOTE:  At the Annual General Meeting Oct. 4, 2009, minor revisions to the club's bylaws from 1993 were voted on and passed.    Here are the previous bylaws, as well as the revised bylaws (with changes shown in italics and underlined).

There is no cost for this event. All kids are invited to come to our  tennis courts and try tennis. Kids are required to wear runners. They are encouraged to bring their own racquets, but the club has some racquets that can be used as well.

  • The next Tennis Social will be held on Sunday August 22nd. starting at 10:00am.  No need to bring a partner, just show up with your racquet for some fun mixed doubles tennis.

If you are concerned about the location of the recently installed children's playground in the club's parking lot, please email your concerns to recreation@districtofwestkelowna.ca.  We are not against a playground, but its location is a safety concern, especially on tournament days when there are many cars coming and going in the parking lot.
