Welcome to the Lakeview Heights Tennis Club in Kelowna BC, the best little tennis club in the Okanagan valley. We are located on Anders Road in Lakeview Heights, close to Westbank BC on the west side of Lake Okanagan. We have over 200 members.

We offer a number of tennis activities including drop-in tennis nights for Ladies, Men, and Mixed,  Fun Tournaments throughout the summer, as well as Club Championships and the Lakeview Heights Open Tournament. Follow the links on the left for details.

Mission Statement and Code of Conduct

The 2007 board members have created a Mission Statement and Code of Conduct .  Members are encouraged to read and abide by the Code of Conduct.  A copy will be posted as well in the club house. The club house is for members only.  Members' guests may use the facilities on a one-time only basis at a cost of $5.00 per guest.  However, club members who routinely allow non-members to use the facilities will have their memberships and keys revoked.

Club House History

The original community hall was a prefabricated structure shipped from England and erected in the 1890s.  It was moved to its present site on Anders Road in 1958.  The site was provided by the Lakeview Heights Irrigation District.  The first two tennis courts were built in 1971 followed by a 3^rd and 4^th in 1983.  Subsequently, 4 more courts were added totalling the 8 courts we have today.

The club's Annual General Meeting was held on Sunday September 28th, when our board members for 2009 were elected.  Our new President is Margaret Bradbury. During the winter,  there will be Table Tennis in the clubhouse on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30pm and Saturday afternoons at 1pm. It is drop-in, and there is no charge. Everybody is welcome.

Nets are left up on two courts during the winter.  The courts are locked, but the key is in the clubhouse on the bulletin board.  Please replace the key after using it.
